Saying Hi

Well I can't stand not to share some cute pictures I captured of the kiddos. I can't believe how much they have grown over the last year since moving into our home. Parker is 2 and Charlotte is 16 months. She is the age that Parker was when she was born! Crazy to think, because I think of her as my little baby girl still. Parker and Charlotte are both so very busy. Parker is becoming more and more of a big boy every day.. he doesn't like to nap anymore and we've been going on 6 months of him not wanting to go to bed.. for like 2 hours every night. It's definitely been a big change having him up late, because mom and dad don't get a break! But we've tried everything! Except for some of the more extreme things.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop a note to say hi! I'm preparing an upcoming trip with some friends that also has little ones their ages. It's going to be so much fun to spend a week with them! Hopefully we will be able to figure out the bedtime thing with Parker while we are there though ;)

Parker has been so verbal and his imagination has really grown. When it comes to cooking in his kitchen and asking me try to everything he makes or just yesterday he asked me if he could go trick or treating when he found his halloween pale. He is also the most social of people I know. He can walk into any room or new place and make friends immediately. When I take him to the playground he always makes new friends and has a group of kids playing with him. It's darling to watch. He definitely doesn't have a shy bone in his body. It says a lot about his personality, because he will also let himself outside whenever he wants as well at our house! Regardless of how many times I tell him he needs to go outside with Momma. He's an explorer and he's very sociable. Lastly, it has got to be the age, but Parker has definitely taken a handful of spills on his knees lately! Poor guy. He's just a busy little boy running around.

Charlotte on the other hand is also very active as well.  She is definitely much more needy of your attention still, whereas Parker is so very independent. Charlotte is very good at doing everything, she just likes to be held, and is still very much in the stage where she is shy with new people. Boy does she love her daddy though! If dad is in the room, she has got to be in his arms within a matter of a minute of seeing him or else the waterworks turn on. She's daddy's little girl! What can I say?

I hope you all are enjoying your start to summer though! I'm not sure about you guys, but Memorial Day weekend was absolutely gorgeous and we've hit quite the cold front this last week. We did enjoy a fun trip to the zoo over the weekend though with some nice cooler temperatures. Have a wonderful day all!
